Jay is a Partner in Prophet's San Francisco office. Over the course of his 10 years of strategic and marketing consulting experience, Jay has assisted many FORTUNE 500 companies with the development and execution of customer-driven growth strategies with specific emphasis on leveraging customer relationships, strategic brand assets, and a deep understanding of customer behavior.
At Prophet, Jay has led strategic marketing and brand related engagements across North America, Europe, and Asia for key clients in a variety of industries such as consumer electronics, healthcare, energy, and diversified conglomerates. His recent client work includes the creation and launch of a new corporate brand resulting from the merger and divestment of two companies, brand portfolio and architecture strategy development and migration planning, and customer experience design. Some of his recent Prophet clients include Samsung Electronics, Cargill, Chevron, and UnitedHealthcare.
Prior to joining Prophet, Jay was a Principal in the Retail & Consumer Group with Mercer Management Consulting where he led a number of strategy projects for consumer-oriented clients. Previously he worked at Sears, Roebuck as a Manager of the Retail and Online Strategy group where he worked on a variety of strategic projects including the development and launch of a new customer value proposition for the Sears department stores.
Jay received a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University at Kingston, and an M.B.A. from the Eller School at the University of Arizona.
